Newbie question around virtual queues

Apologies if already addressed. I will only be able to attend Sunday and looking to meet several artists/presentations. The socials mention getting in early for virtual queues. Do these things sell out? Do you go directly to whatever booth and have your badge scanned?

If someone might share their experience in the past, I'd appreciate it. Thanks!
