Success Stories Wanted

I’m a 26 year old female fragile X carrier with 91 repeats. I started IVF with my husband this year. My amh is 1.2, likely due to being a fragile X carrier.

Our first retrieval resulted in: 5 eggs, 4 fertilized, 3 blasts and 1 healthy unaffected embryo.

Our second retrieval resulted in: 7 eggs, 3 fertilized, and 1 blast. We are now waiting on testing for that embryo.

I guess I’m just feeling hopeless at the moment, like we just got dumb luck with getting one unaffected our first round and that we won’t be able to get that success again. Looking for success stories to lift my spirits!

I feel like any fragile X carrier I have connected with that has had success also has PCOS and so they get a lot more eggs than I ever will.
