Possibly hacked? Laptop location is sometimes shown as being in Bulgaria.

Hi,

For the past couple months or so, my laptop will at times have its location set to Bulgaria. I do not live in Bulgaria, I live very far away. I know this because I'll have YouTube adverts in Bulgarian, it'll say YouTube (BG), and sometimes I get text in Bulgarian script on websites.

It has not consistently been like this, it comes and goes. And I have to admit, I've been on some dodgy websites in my past, so I wonder if I was somehow compromised through that, and now my internet traffic is being routed through someone in Bulgaria?

Is this possible? Its starting to unsettle me now
