I'm transitioning away from admin into paralegal work finally, but I cannot offload the admin side fast enough. One example: I started the day with a client's *kid* responding on behalf of their mom acting confused why they didn't get a Word version of our standard retainer so they could redline it. I then edited the retainer to tighten the scope and clarify the fee application (it wasn't that unreasonable, but I'm already miffed). They then shot back with a ChatGPT paragraph of language they want to include even though similar language is already in the retainer. They specifically want to add a fee cap and exclusion of hourly billing. Best part.... it's a very straightforward $600 flat fee for production of one whole document. Bffr
