Small single story home, advice on house-mounted floodlight v/s fence-mounted lights

Hi, smaller single-story home (2000sqft), with a small back yard (18' deep but 3' of it is a retaining wall at the back). Right side of house has a 4' concrete path and then fence, left side of house has 10' concrete path and then fence.

I bought the Lutec solar floodlights from CostCo on a recent sale, but there aren't a lot of places with wood to install both the light and solar panel I realized. I could do the stucco but don't want to risk water intrusion (I know I can caulk it).

Now I'm wondering if I should go for a bunch of solar fence lights.

Would that be a bad idea? It would be easier to install.

I will also be installing security cameras, I have ethernet fixtures already set up by the builder for those. The system I bought doesn't have lights included however.
