Is anyone else unable to collect gems during the workday?

I just started a job today and I’m pretty sure I will be in a high security area almost all day without electronic devices

I know this is going to be a massive hit on my gem income and game progress. I dont want to buy gems or stones. I guess I just have to accept that I wont progress quickly in this game

Does anyone else have a similar experience? I would like to collect gems during the day, but i don’t think i will be able to
