can heat cause them to eat less?

My leopard gecko has eaten only 1 worm in 3 weeks, its currently 37/40 celsius outside, but in his den everything is in okey conditions cause ac is running constantly. there has been a few days where i wasnt home and the temp of his hot side was 34 celsius which yeah its my fault but my mother doesnt know about it. humidity also good. i have 2 types of worms, meal and super worms. dubias i cant find anywhere now, but the guy i buy them from said he is gonna get them soon. im trying almost every day to give him something, he gets exited, and just wants to come out. he/she isnt belly dragging, or anything that i saw could lead to believing its an illness. he is fairly active. But i dont want him to be hungry. Water is replaced every day. Yeah he shed and ate it a few days ago. I really need to know if this is an usual behavior that can happen in adults (a little older then a year) or its something else
