Online Company Asking for a Tip

Here’s a new on for me. Yesterday I bought an item online. Nothing unusual just a shower curtain. During checkout I noticed a request for a tip to “support company workers.”

I’ve never seen this before and naturally I didn’t tip.

WTF?
