[REQUEST][STEAM] Binding of Isaac Rebirth Complete bundle 2nd Attempt
Hello GOG, i am back on this subreddit to request the binding of isaac full bundles, which is currently on sale for 5 dollars and 6 cents USD. I would honestly get it myself but at the moment, my family is going through major family issues and I simply don't want to ask my mother for extra cash for a simple video game. We are tight on money at the moment otherwise I would have bought the game for myself, but my mother unfortunately afford to spend any amount of cash outside of spending for necessities. Ive come on this subreddit to ask if anyone would be willing to spare some of their hard earned cash to fulfill a wish that I have.
The reason that I want binding of isaac especially is that roguelikes are some of the best types of game that I have played before, I played many roguelikes on past hardwares like risk of rain 2 or hades 1 and 2 before my family got into this family situation, but I was never able to play binding of isaac wether it was the original or rebirth or afterbirth. I watched videos on it by adrian (who 100% the game) or a youtuber based around the game like Lazy Mattman. Watching these videos I saw just how much fun they were having and with my experience of enjoying roguelikes/lites myself, I knew I would enjoy playing the game aswell if I ever was able to buy it myself, which unfortunately did not happen.
The binding of isaac was a game that was originally released in 2011, but the version that many have played and come to enjoy, also known as binding of isaac rebirth, was released in 2014 by Edward Mcmillen and Florian Himsl. The purpose of the game was like any roguelike, where you do continious runs with a new set of gear every run and see how far you can go (which is one of the reasons I adore them because of the randomness they can have). The reason this game is valued above the others is simply because of how simple it is but yet how addictive it can be. The game offers many synergies between items, as well as awarding runs that progress far into the game with even more content. Wether you defeat a boss or defeat a certain boss under a certain amount of time, you can unlock new and interesting bosses that can give you a challenge.
One of the big things about binding of isaac is the modding community in the game, it is made by many of the same gamers that I wish to be, ones that enjoyed the game to it's fullest and wanted to create even more content for a game that they poured hundreds (if not thousands) of hours into. Some notable mods that I saw the youtubers that I watched use was mods like: enhanced boss bars (which gives most bosses unique health bars), LilTimer (which gives an ingame timer to see how long a run has taken), Boss rush wave counter (which allows to see what wave you are in a boss rush, a mechanic that is given inside of the game where you have to defeat a bosses back to back for a reward), and many others that expand the game in many outstanding ways.
I hope that someone is willing to help me out in being able to experience that same joy that countless others have experiences themselves. I wish to one day eventually pour enough hours to hopefully 100% the game (or atleast very much near 100%) just like I did with other roguelikes/lites. The genre is one of my favorites simply because you don't know what synergy or rooms you will get during your next run (unless you use a seeded run) and if you want to progress you have to learn what most items do and how they are compatible with eachother.
