What’s a crazy gift you got from your narc parent?

Today I received a package from my narc mom. I’ve heard stories of other people getting random gifts, but honestly never thought I’d receive one. My nmom never was a gift giver, much less ever shipped something. I went no contact with her a year ago. I’m still in contact with my dad, (they’re still married) so she found out where I live.

Today she sent a painting she made of the sun. 😐 I was so angry. I know, I know. I shouldn’t have opened it. But I was curious. What if it was an important document? Nope! The sun. She wrote on the back I love you and my nickname. I was so incredibly angry. I asked for an apology, and all I got was a painting. Of the sun. Like ?????
