idk what i’m doing wrong

so i’ve been fishing for a very long time. but not consistently. i decided i wanted to really
commit to bass fishing. i have a decent tackle box mainly full of rapalas. i have a pond nearby that i have been going to. lots weeds, algae and lily pads farther out. i have been using a pumpkin green wacky worm on a texas rig. i think im using it right? i caught one bass with it and that was it. i would see other people
go to the same spot and just start reeling them in. i’ve been getting extremely frustrated recently and just don’t know what to do. what am i doing wrong?
