People view the men as props, not people. It’s weird.
I’m not trying to absolve KC of accountability. He could’ve handled the situation better, but I don’t think there’s a world where he came out with Tierra and the women there didn’t shred him.
It was a no win situation for him, where he either stays in a couple that is clearly doomed to fail because they both have different philosophies on how they should be moving in the villa. KC thinks it’s okay to explore, Aniya clearly from the jump did not want him to explore so much that she interrupted KC’s only attempt to actually explore Sol.
Like if I was friends with either KC or Aniya I’d both pray to god they found new people. KC was miserable every day leading up to Casa because they had relitigated the same fight 3 different times, and Aniya would allow Bryce and Zach to play on her insecurities and doubts to recreate the same fight.
Even Trinity, Kayda and Kenzie were telling Aniya to choose herself and go with Carl. Aniya is allowed to make that decision and receive support, but the second KC makes that same (correct) decision, they unload on him and it doesn’t make sense to me.
The villa girls are allowed to berate, and call KC all types of pussies and bitches, but if KC gets upset with 4 people screaming at him, he’s the problem, because as a man on the show, he should only exist to serve as a prop for the women.
