The Actors' New Year???

Hey y'all!

I'm coming back to acting as an adult and am based on the West Coast. I've really been working through the learning curve and trying to catch up on the industry through this subreddit, the community around me, and a few acting/industry podcasts.

I find Audrey Helps Actors Podcast to be so informative and helpful, but I'm still a little confused about what she means by "Actors' New Year." Since this season is over, I don't think she'll be speaking about it beyond the virtual meet-up she held this past Sunday with the We Track Auditions crew. Unfortunately, I was road-tripping through the Sierras with no service, so I missed both sessions. I'd love to understand this "Actors' New Year" concept a little better!

As I said, I'm new to pursuing acting professionally, and I've been loving this subreddit for the wealth of knowledge and experience that lives here. Thank you all so much for sharing. (:
