Social Sciences and History CLEP Feedback

I Passed!

Took this one today and passed with a 74. I'd recently taken:

  • US History 1 & 2
  • Western Civ 1 & 2
  • American Government
  • Humanities
  • Art of the Western World

So a lot of the necessary knowledge was fresh in my mind and made much of the test easy. You'll see bits and pieces from all of those exams. Geography and Economics was the only real challenge, and Geography was easy enough. I had a harder time with the Economics portions, but it wasn't anything crazy, just reading some tables and graphs on Production Possibility Curves, Aggregate Demand, etc. Geography had some of the same, though about population and other geography topics.

I've updated the Social Sciences and History free study guide over at Free-Clep-Prep to reflect the missing topics, but really, there were only a handful needing to be added. If you know everything there, you'll be prepared pretty darn well. It's a lot of info, but this is a big test. I had about 30 minutes left when I finished.

Good luck, and I hope this helps!
