Rogers Bank rejected my chargeback saying 'it was made in person' and dispute manager offered $50 to not escalate. Should I take this to ADR Chambers ombudsman?

Banking

Rogers Bank rejected my chargeback for an in-person transaction citing 'it was made in person' as the reason. The dispute manager then offered me $50 to not escalate to the complaints department. I'm planning to file with ADR Chambers (Rogers' banking ombudsman) next. Is this a reasonable next step given the $50 suppression offer, or should I be pursuing this differently? Also wondering if 'it was made in person' is even a valid basis for rejecting a Mastercard dispute under reason codes 4853/4855.
