is it wrong to expect them to call back?

I was on call with my best friend for about 40 minutes and directly in-between our call our other best friend called her, and she said "__ is calling me hold on" and then never called me back or texted me over two hours ago.

This is a common occurrence but usually they just call and never invite me and it really bothers me but like whatever. I don't want to say anything because one's turtle just died and then my other friends girlfriend broke up with her (both happened on the same day 3 days ago) and I don't know maybe I'm being overdramatic.

there's a chance they were talking about that but also they probably weren't and I just kinda expected a call back cause we are in a trio and I always add them into a call once they call me :/

I just always feel like a second choice because they never call me first.
