Quit my job and go for it?

Both mid 30s, 2 kids, ~$2M NW. My TC $375K (VP Marketing), wife $300K (EM). Comfortable and bored out of my mind.

Ice cream manufacture with a premium branded retail business for sale near us. In regional Wholefoods + regional specialty retailers. I spent 5 years in frozen CPG as a Director of retail marketing and ecommerce.

Ran the numbers to death. Coasting is technically the richer path if it stays flat but if I grow it (current 1m rev, I see a path to $4-6M keeping even just regional, potentially bigger if I start rolling up some other brands, go foodservice, currently only in retail no shops either).

Catastrophic outcome, I’m out 250-300k, Base model matches current 10yr keep doing my job, upside could be 4-6m+.

Wife keeps her job, assets walled off, hard stop loss. Not betting the family, betting on myself.

Real product, AI proof, recession resistant, mine. Everything corporate isn't.
