Monica kind of screwed Phoebe over

In “The One Where They’re Going To Party!” Monica and Phoebe buy a van for their catering business and get started on their venture together. Then, Monica takes the job at Alessandro’s. This puts Phoebe in a bad situation because, like Monica, she was unemployed and also invested $500 into her catering business and contributed to the band. She and Monica were going into business together and would’ve had a steady income again. Monica taking the head chef position threw Phoebe back into unemployment and essentially threw all the money she put into it down the drain. It was really unfair to her, and honestly if I were Phoebe, I wouldn’t want to be friends with Monica anymore.
Don’t get me wrong, I love Monica and most of the time she’s my favorite character, but this really rubbed me the wrong way.
