Weird dream

I've tried to find an explanation for this for years but I can't.

This happened maybe about 10 or so years ago. I was sleeping in my room, and in my dream I saw my mom walking up the stairs to my bedroom, walking into my room and I saw myself sleeping, she walked up to my bed and in the EXACT moment she touched me in my dream I was woken up by her. I have no idea what that was, it happened years ago but the timing down to literal seconds still terrifies me. Is there any explanation?
