Searching best business credit cards 2026, finally separating personal and business finances after two years of mixing them
Started a small consulting thing two years ago and just kept using my personal checking account for everything because it was easier at the time. That's caught up with me now that tax season made it clear how messy that actually was. I'm opening a dedicated business account this month and trying to figure out which cards are worth looking at for 2026, since I'll need one tied to the new account anyway. Most of what I've found online seems written for companies way bigger than mine, lots of talk about employee cards and travel perks I don't need yet.
Really just looking for something with decent cash back on basic stuff like software subscriptions and office supplies, low annual fee if any, and ideally doesn't require a long business history since mine is pretty thin on paper even though I've been doing this a while. Has anyone here gone through this transition recently? What did you end up picking, and is there anything you wish you'd known before opening the account?
