Hi everyone!

I’m working on **The Lost Colony**, a text-based sci-fi strategy game where you are placed in charge of a fragile human colony on another planet.

You are the **First Colonist**. Every decision matters. Some choices may save lives, others may drain your resources, create new problems or slowly push the colony toward collapse.

The current version is focused on testing the main gameplay loop:

**Events → Choices → Consequences → Resource management → Survival**

I’d really appreciate feedback on whether this loop feels fun, clear and worth expanding.

**Game Title:** The Lost Colony
**Playable Link:** [https://studio-squirrel-in-space.itch.io/the-lost-colony](https://studio-squirrel-in-space.itch.io/the-lost-colony)
**Platform:** PC/Web
**Status:** Free early prototype
**Involvement:** Solo developer

Things I’d love to know:

* Did the decisions feel meaningful?
* Were the resource changes clear?
* Did the events make you curious to continue?
* Was anything confusing or boring?
* Would you play a longer version with more events and systems?

This is not a finished game yet. I’m mainly trying to understand if the core idea is strong enough before building the next major update.

Thank you for playing and helping an indie dev improve the game!

Can you keep a space colony alive? I need feedback on my text-based sci-fi strategy game
