How do I '44F' cope with the fact that I love my husband '45M' more than he loves me?
My husband '45M' and I '44F' have been married for about 20 years. The kids are almost grown up, and it has given us more time together as a couple. The last two years we have started making trips together (The kids don't want to come along anyway). And my feelings for him have always been love, but right know I am IN love again. For the last year or so, I would like to have sex at least three times a week. I greet him with hugs when we get home from our works, and I love being close to him. My husband - not so much. He loves me, I know he does. And he enjoys our trips and the things we do together. But he thinks sex once a week is too much. A month without sex is no problem for him. I asked him if he still finds me attractive and his answer was: "Well none of us is 20 anymore, and we both look like it. But I wouldn't want it any other way. I love you." Okeeeey, so he is content? This has made me a bit insecure, and I am trying to eat more healthy, thinking about maybe a face lift. But at the same time, it feels like I am creating a problem that don't exist... Am I? I am just so madly in love with him right know, and I wish he felt the same.
