First ER coming up

Hi again! Day 12 of stims and it’s looking like tomorrow will be trigger day. I am 31 with AMH 0.5 and my baseline AFC was 8. To my surprise I have ended up with a little cohort of 15 that should make it to retrieval. I did not expect this response at all and I’m feeling really hopeful about our goal of banking a few euploids as I also struggle with recurrent pregnancy loss.

Question - what to expect for egg retrieval? What is the procedure and recovery like? Can you go back to normal activity pretty quickly? I’ve had a couple of surgeries in the last 8 mos and am having some anxiety by association with those procedures, trying to reassure myself this one is no big deal!
