I hate my voice
I'm 22 months on T and I have a really androgynous voice. I can sometimes pass for male, much more often female. I talk on the phone a lot as part of my job and even when I'm actively integrating voice training lessons I still sound like a woman. Every day it's maybe 3 sirs for 20 ma'ams. I have a male coworker I get mistaken for sometimes because we have similar voices, yet somehow it's still ma'am, ma'am, ma'am.
Voice dysphoria was my biggest source of dysphoria pre-t. I felt so miserable because of it. And it has changed a lot, it's dropped a lot, but it's somehow not enough. Something's just wrong with it that people clock. And I'm 22 months now, it should be passing consistently by now, shouldn't it? Am I stuck with this voice that won't change any further? Decades of suffering from a voice and body I hate and when I finally get the hormones I need, that I knew I needed since I was 14, it won't even relieve my greatest pain? If it was writing I'd criticize it for being too on the nose.
