Nord VPN cutting connection to my new TV

Hello.

I just got a new TV, an LG C5, and my Nord now cuts the screen share from my Windows 11 laptop as soon as I turn on the VPN. This hasn't ever happened before with two previous TVs, both LGs.

I've spoken to support and they are telling me that Nord should never have allowed screen sharing while the VPN was turned on, but if that's the case then why did they used to have an 'allow local connections' setting to connect to secondary displays? That seems like complete rubbish to me, but I can't be sure, obviously. The connection worked just an hour or so ago and now isn't? They're just giving me the option to use Nord through a router (which I can't) or sharing VPN via my PC, which was what I thought I was doing in the first place!

Has anyone else had this issue and were you told the same thing by support?
