Perceval review.

Review

Hey everyone! I currently own over 20 bottles from Montagne, so it’s probably safe to say I’m a pretty big fan of the brand. That said, I still try to judge every fragrance on its own rather than assuming it’ll be great just because of the name.
I recently picked up Perceval, and after wearing it a few times, I was honestly surprised by how well it performed. On my skin, it projects a little stronger and lasts a bit longer than the original. I know performance can vary from person to person, but that’s been my experience.
To make things a little more interesting, I had my wife and daughter do a blind smell test without telling them which fragrance was which. All three of us ended up choosing Montagne’s Perceval over the original, which genuinely surprised me. Obviously, that’s just our opinion, but I thought it was a fun little experiment.
I also picked up Layton, and while I still need some more wearings before giving a full review, my first impressions have been really positive. I’m looking forward to trying more of Montagne’s PDM-inspired fragrances since I now own decants of the entire Parfums de Marly lineup.

If you’d like to see the full blind comparison, follow my TikTok **@**colognereviewj. I’m just getting started creating fragrance content, and my goal is to post honest reviews, blind comparisons, first impressions, and discussions on both designer and niche fragrances. You’ll also be seeing a lot of Montagne Parfums content, since I’ve built up a pretty large collection and plan on reviewing many more of their fragrances. If that’s something you’re into, I’d really appreciate the follow!
