Big disconnect between style on IG and sketch she sent me?

Design

After 30 years of working up the nerve to get my first tattoo, I came up with an idea and found an artist with a style I just loved. My tattoo is six words of text with 6 personally significant flowers interspersed. Her style (on IG) is very femme, a little gothy, very artistic. We had a conversation over Zoom and I felt comfortable enough to book.

The appointment is Friday and she sent me a design last Saturday. It’s cobbled together from digital images and fonts, while the work on her IG looks hand-drawn with lots of detail. I sent her a few images I really liked from her profile and explained I was hoping for something more like that. She said she couldn’t do that at the size I wanted although she has posted images of smaller tattoos with more detail.

Is it normal for designs to be digital cut-and-paste stuff to give a general idea of what to expect and the actual tattoo to be better and consistent with their style?
