Originally was only going to try to do 26. But maybe I will get to get to 52.

Been trying to do more audio books. Everything is tuberculosis was a great audiobook done by the author John green. Murder bimbo and the ballad of songbirds and snakes were also audiobooks.

Heated rivalry and the long game absolutely lived up to the hype for me. The long game is probably my favorite read so far.

I know yesteryear isn’t for everyone but I enjoyed it. Had some gone girl vibes in a way. I liked it more than trad wife where the whole time I honestly couldn’t tell if the main character was smart or not.

Few books I expected better but were disappointing with half his age and the compound. Thought homeschooled would be similar to educated or the glass castle but he doesn’t even seem phased by what happened to him.

The family game and dear Debbie were only saved from one stars for being fast reads. Both have so many issues and were actually frustratingly bad. This was my first Frida McFadden book and no interest in any others now.

Nightmare on nightmare street makes me with RL Stine wouldn’t be so afraid to write good middle grade. Like he says he wants this book to be for kids but also the adults that read goosebumps. And it does have some of those fun goose bumps aspects. But as someone who reads a good amount of middle grade and middle grade horror I wish he’d just give us the good stuff.

No one stars. No DNFs. Currently reading the tribe has spoken. Ready to read/reread the heartstopper series once the last one comes out.

Mid year check in (32/26)
