Thinking Sally Rooney, Lily King, Jennifer Egan, my brilliant friend vibes. I’m in a 1+ year reading rut and looking to get out. Doesn’t need to be a work of literature but I’d prefer to stay away from books of the Emily Henry type. Something that makes me yearn on behalf of the protagonist and hooks me quickly!
