Need advice on pursuing B.Ed after BCA without Mathematics and becoming a government school teacher
my_qualifications: Currently pursuing BCA (2024–2027). I did not study Mathematics after Class 10.
I'm considering becoming a government school Computer Science teacher in Delhi. I have a few questions and would appreciate guidance from anyone who has gone through this path.
-
Am I eligible for B.Ed after completing my BCA?
-
Which universities would you recommend (DU, GGSIPU, Jamia, Amity, etc.)?
-
Does not having Mathematics in Class 11–12 affect my eligibility for B.Ed or government teaching jobs?
-
Is BCA + B.Ed enough for TGT Computer Science, or is an MCA required?
-
How competitive are DSSSB/KVS Computer Science teacher recruitments?
-
If you are a government teacher, would you recommend this career over software engineering?
I'd really appreciate advice from B.Ed students, teachers, or anyone familiar with the Delhi government school recruitment process. Thank you!
