My boyfriend has old pictures of girls from dating apps and notes about previous hookups, am I wrong for being upset about it?

We’ve been together for over 2 years and the pictures are all from before we started talking but there’s been multiple times over the last year where I’ve looked at his pictures or he’s shown me an old picture and there’s screenshots of girls pictures off of dating apps. He also has shown me his notes app before and I’ve found notes about dates he’s been on in the past and a timeline of when he hooked up with different girls.

It really bothers me because I made sure I deleted any old pictures/notes that had to do with exes or anything like that because I didn’t want him to be uncomfortable and those pictures didn’t mean anything to me anymore. He also had never deleted all the contacts or phone numbers from his hookups (all one night stands) and I found those too. I don’t understand why he kept them when he said he never wanted to see them again.

He says it’s because he never goes through his pictures or anything else on his phone and forgot they were in there which I believe because he would’ve had the same pictures on there when he was with his last ex too.

I don’t know if I’m being crazy or too jealous but it bothers me to see them on his phone and he’s told me so many times he would go through and make sure to delete them but I keep seeing them.

The most recent time I asked him how he would feel if I had pictures like this and he said it would bother him to see them on my phone and he understands why I’m upset.

I just don’t know how to get over this, I feel so upset and I just want to argue with him and get angry with him because I had to see them.
