Medium or Large?

She at the theatre food court asked, "Medium or Large?" and somehow that became the longest conversation we had. 😭

She genuinely seemed like someone who'd be fun to talk to. My brain wanted to say something more, but then came the overthinking: "She's working... am I bothering her?" So I just said "Medium, thanks," collected my order, and left.

Now I'm left wondering why it's so hard to naturally start a conversation and, if the vibe is right, just say, "Hey, here's my number if you'd ever like to talk."
