[Sundays 5-9 US Central][Online][PF2e] | Where Little Hope Breathes, a Reimagining of an Iconic Fantasy Nocturne
Hello guys and gals! Before we get into the game details, a bit about me:
I'm an 18 year-old GM that has been playing RPGs for almost a decade now. Most of my experience is with DND 5e, but I've also run four SF1e sessions and played in two PF2e sessions, in addition to having dabbled with a bunch of gimmick systems. PF2e has become my favorite in concept, but I don't have much experience, so I'm looking for some veteran players to show me the ropes. Now let's find out what you're in for, shall we?

"The mists have swallowed yet another road. Those roiling coils, white like snow, what came into our land at harvest. If the duke doesn't get his right arse up and-"
"Hush now, Dafydd. You heard what those noblewomen were whispering about at market last week. Duke has been dabbling in what he ought not. Don't earn his ire."
"Well, me cousin Eirian, the one who keeps the duke's grounds? Right, he says he han't seen him come out his study in months. Some knife-eared bastard's been running letters to and fro and what have you. And that crest... the one the elf wears, I mean... says he's never seen it before. Like it's from some other land."
"I won't listen to a minute more , no. Shut yer trap, Dafydd. You'll get us all-"
The rending of flesh is his music.

Where Little Hope Breathes is a PF2e retooling of the beloved Curse of Strahd adventure module. Instead of a direct conversion, it's a full reimagining built around survival, environmental storytelling, and brutally difficult tactical combat.
Starting off as Level 3 adventurers, you'll enter the strange kingdom of Barovia and find yourselves tangled in a thicket of complex moral conundrums, fighting off swarms of beasties who yearn to gnaw on your bones. Expect intelligent enemies that fight to kill, few encounters easier than Severe, an expectation to track your resources, the need to retreat, the possibility of death, and the slim chance to eke out victory untainted.
This game will reward teamwork, preparation, clever tactics, and players who enjoy overcoming overwhelming odds stacked against them.
I'm looking for players with conviction, who can dedicate to a long campaign that might drive them insane. What fun is there if you can't lose it all?
