Fostering Wait Times

Is it typical to wait 3+ weeks to get your first cat foster placement? We’ve been on the active foster list at the rescue for over 3 weeks and haven’t received a placement yet. They got quite a few new intakes over the past week but they’ve all been placed elsewhere from what I can see. Not sure if this is normal or if I should register with a different rescue? We’ve been all prepared and expecting fosters right away and now we’ve just been waiting.

We’ve said we’ll take pretty much any cats too so no restrictions and we’re a very experienced cat household.
