i fell on my ass after trying a new skateboard and it hurt really bad i feel like quitting

i fell yesterday and have a bruise on my ankle and my ass hurts constantly because i landed on it , i feel like quitting skateboarding . ive been doing it since i was 13 and now im 19 and i feel like theres no improvement .
