How to ship Bash script conent to Splunk?

I am building my home lab, to practice threat detection.

I noticed that when I run Bash scripts, the content of the scripts are not logged whether auditd or rsyslog.

What I am trying to achieve is, if I have a script that has the following content

#!/bin/bash

echo "Hello Reddit"
printf $USER

I want to see a log that shows

echo "Hello Reddit"
printf $USER

and

Hello Reddit
OmegaScouter
