Social Experiment

Let me preface this by saying I have no qualms with what happened to me at the end of the day, I have a gripe but I understood (expected) the risk. Spoiler- they took my stuff

Be me, solo exploring, get a rather decent haul just scrapping and hitting outposts people ignored. Headed towards an extract, LOTS of people dancing around, shooting off green flares, and one crawler just doing circles. TOTALLY should ignore them and leave lmao VERY clearly know this is a bait and all of those people are teaming and plan to jump me and take all my stuff.

But I went in anyway to see what would happen. Sure enough they commandeer the rig, and it doesn't help that when I was building it the Cpts door defaulted to WIDE OPEN lol separate lesson learned there, dumb mechanic to default to ANY door being open but whatever. Whatever killed a few of em on my way out, I enjoyed borrowing my equipment for the time, they'll die some gruesome death too and the torch will be passed.

Hey at the end of the day people disappoint lol I've played plenty of Sea of Thieves and I'm an ARC Raiders refugee, I've heard all the gripe and back and forths from both sides about "It's PvP/E", "We should work together", "KILLKILLKILL", blah blah blah. I knew what was coming, I am by no means surprised.

Just disappointed.

Hopefully this isn't another game where it's the community that destroys it. I'm having fun.
