10 years since I resigned. Looking back on my former community.

I've got that typical big Mormon family, and an even bigger extended family, and I'm still the only one who has stepped away.

They're really not good people though, so perhaps its best they stay where they are.

But I have noticed that all of the smartest girls I knew while growing up have left. Every single one! Most of them divorced their TBM husbands to do so, and are raising their children mostly outside of the cult. A few have come out as queer and are partnered with women or enby's that are worthy of them.

It sucks that neither of my sisters and none of my female cousins have left, but seeing these other ladies (who I always admired and respected) thriving like they are more than makes up for it.
