Insane cramps even post op, what treatment to do?

My doctor prescribed me Heather 0.35mg but after seeing all the reviews on the internet and the rating of 55% of women having had a negative side effect on this, I don’t really feel comfortable with taking this. I know every body is different but the overwhelming amount of bad side effects like hair loss and acne just don’t make it seem worth taking to me, especially because my hair is a big part of who I am. Does anyone have any suggestions? I keep getting told if I don’t go on a pill my fertility will be at a high risk, so I’m really nervous and having constant panic attacks over this. I am almost a year post op by the way and dealing with heavy bleeding and severe cramps that have left me unemployed.
If anyone has any advice of the direction I should go in, please let me know.
