Got a roof replacement last week. The old roof did not last long because there was no intake ventilation, just a ridge vent. It is an old home with no soffit vents. To remedy this on the replacement, deck vents were installed along with 5 14in whirlybird turbines and a ridge vent over the carport (basically two completely different roofs, separated by decking). However, I noticed multiple potential issues with the install.

The water heater exhaust vent got knocked off the water heater entirely and is installed sideways.

No deck vents were installed on the carport so there is no intake for that portion of the roof. Looks like 108LF of deck vent was ordered, but only \~73ft installed

No bathroom vents were installed so the shower vents are just blowing into the attic.

There is also quite a bit of waviness on one of the valleys.

The biggest issue (at least I think) is that the deck vents were not installed high enough. They are below all of the insulation. According to the install guide they must be placed above to get proper airflow. I can’t see any daylight coming from the vents when in the attic.

Am I correct about these issues and how should I go about addressing them with the roofing company? FYI, I haven’t paid anything yet.
