Timetable change

I’m traveling from Warsaw to Berlin in August. A few weeks ago, I received a notification in the DB Navigator app that there had been a change to the schedule. In other words, the train won’t go any further than Frankfurt (Oder). The app suggests choosing an alternative connection, which, depending on the time of day, is either the RE1 train or the SEV bus.

I’d prefer to take the train instead of the bus, but when I select the RE1, I see the following message: “Im Zeitraum 25.07.2026 bis 14.08.2026 entfallen die Züge in dem verlängerten Abschnitt Berlin-Charlottenburg - Frankfurt (Oder). Bitte informieren Sie sich vor Fahrtantritt erneut über Ihre Verbindung."

Does this mean that the RE1 won’t actually run, even though it’s currently available as an option?
