I think we see more bugs 🐞 in 12.2

Whether we see Kith’ix in 12.1.5 or 12.2, I think we revisit the bugs in Silithid.

1. We need a way to get to the WorldCore. I made a post about this before but I’m not sold on the core way being repaired just yet. These bugs dig deep and maybe we follow through their tunnels.

2. Blizzard doesn’t really like to repeat themes for big patches in the same expansion. Are you just going to have another “ light vs shadow “ patch which is just a repeat of 12.0 but underground?

It’s been a long time since we’ve had a bug-focused patch/raid tier. There was AQ obviously and then the bugs in MoP. But the Mantid and the Qiraji are very intertwined with Kith’ix/Old God stuff.

3. This could be a stretch but in the Harbinger quest line from pre-patch of TWW, there’s a quest where Alleria tells you to check on the scouts’ reports on investigating void-magic.

• One says they found some near Zul’Aman but it went cold (Kith’ix grave site).
• Another is found in Northrend and succumbed to the void.
• The third one was sent to Kalimdor and sensed some by the southern coast but was gone by the time they got there (maybe AQ?)
