I'm curious about health and wellness coaches in Eugene. I'm absolutely seeking someone with a medical background....
Hey all I'm seeking a health/wellness coach for an older neighbor. My concern from what I see online is that there are folks offering that service but none of them have medical licenses and I personally am concerned that someone without medical training (as in they have an OR medical license) will do some diagnosing and thus offer advice based on medical understanding that they don't really understand due to lack of training in bloodwork, nutrition, biochemistry, pathophysiology, etc.
I know the "Wellness Industry" is a trendy thing with many grey areas and I'm nervous to send her to anyone who claims to free people of trauma when they have no psychology degree/background, etc...
Are there anyone in town that actually have the medical background that I think is necessary?
Sorry if this post annoys anyone out there who is a coach and reads this, but I'm just being upfront about the requirements I would look for. Thanks!
