His and Her circumstances

Does anyone else remember this gem of romance/shojo anime? Or Kare Kano the manga?

I feel like this one is so underappreciated. Everyone always goes to Fruits Baskets (no hate) when talking about the OGs of this genre but I'd argue for me the OG is his and her circumstances. The animation style, the subtle nods like when the street lights changed colors often times signaling a change in the characters development/plot itself, but definetly the inside thoughts of characters verse how they betray themselves.

Also I love Dub version of this. Voice acting of the English cast is peak!

Am I the only one who remembers this?
