How important is IB dp1 for uni I might be doomed...

I didn't get the best grades for my first year in IB and besides my English IO that I had earlier this June that will be sent to the IB, I only had mock IAs and nothing else that will be sent over till next school year. I wanted to know how should I plan for maximizing my chances to get 6s-7s on the IB and will my teachers even predict anything that magnificent. Is there hope. Should I get my IB tests regraded if I think it will help me
