Breast lump now has small bruise, how urgent is it?

NSFW

Female 28yo, 5’0 100lbs, no history of breast cancer in my family.

I noticed a small hard lump in my left breast about a month ago. It’s not sore or painful, is definitely attached in there (doesn’t move around), and isn’t perfectly round- it feels sort of rough around the edges. I have small breasts and it’s right under the skin basically right above my nipple maybe an inch, so towards the top of my breast. I noticed when I move in certain ways you can even see it through my skin, but it’s only about the size of a pea. I’ve had some friends feel it and they definitely can but since I have no history of cancer in my family or anything like that I figured I’d mention it at my yearly check-up in October.

Today I did notice that there is a small bruise right on the area, and I don’t know if that’s from feeling it and applying pressure since I’ve been trying to monitor it a bit, or if that’s something concerning. There is no redness or dimpling or any other skin changes.

Does this sound like it can wait until October to be checked? I have zero other symptoms.

Thanks!
