What's the Adam and Eve of CS/programming?

Like what is the source? If you trace back, let's say python, to the root of the language I think it goes back to assembly? but then assembly comes from machine code. and machine code comes from binary. so how does the computer know what 0 and 1 is? like. do you see my vision?

am I thinking too much? I sound so crazy right now.
