IV drips for withdrawals?

I got a few places in town where they do those IV drips for different purposes. Like immunity, vitamins, hangover drip etc I just wonder if anyone tried that for helping withdrawals and if it helped? My wife swears by them. Says it makes her feel like new. Hmmm .... Different situation of course but?
