Jeez, why is this game so Toxic for girls.

I (23F) played a conquest game that wasn't going the best but I managed to turn my lane around as ADC with my Support. Basically enemy jungle camped us and our jungle refused to help us or help other lanes, just electing to stay around mid and try (and fail) to kill the enemy mid.

Around mid-game half of our team is on middle lane trying to get the ritual thingy when more of the enemy shows up, we ping for help and a 3v4 team fight starts with us down a the jungler, who is trying to solo the Golden Fury. We die and in a bout of frustration I get on comms and ask if the other 2 guys can help us out.

This awakened something in the Jungle and he start spouting out the most vile things I've heard telling me to harm myself, saying he's gonna find me and 🍇 me and my mom, and that im only good for s#x. Telling me im trash because I was 4/8/2, (he was 2/5/something when this happened) and just using really violent language.

Ive played smite on and off and Im definitely not great but I can handle my own and understand the basics of teamwork and try to be as helpful as I can with any info I have. This isnt the only time it happened, there been a lot of snide comments whenever I get on comms instead of VGS and it just makes me want to playbthis game less and less. I download for a bit have fun, and then get reminded how toxic the game can be.
