Duren shouldn't get anywhere near the max

As far as I am concerned, max level money should be reserved for players who can put a team on their back either offensively or defensively. I know nothing about him except that all his points comes from lobs and he looks slow as hell. Granted, he's heavy but if you watch his dunks he barely gets up there.

My biggest concern with him has nothing to do with his game. You're 22 years old and you made one all star as a 3rd team and you think you should get the max? Where's your head at? Because it ain't the game. There's a reason Detroit won't max him and wanted to throw a max at AR, someone who has never played for them.

AR earned it, he put his team above his desires and bet on himself. You're 22 years old, this isn't going to be your last contract. How are you asking for a max when you haven't done shit. The fact that he's willing to leave a first seed team that drafted him over money says a lot about his priorities. I don't want to be the team that nurtures that because when push comes to shove it will come back to bite us.

Give me Kessler or give me Duren on a contract that makes sense.
